Page cannot be edited with Elementor

  • Hi there,

    I met some problems editing a page having private shortcode on it – [wppcp_private_page] – with Elementor.

    I have a dedicated Private Page built with Elementor (worked just fine), but now when trying to open it, the page loads in Elementor for a flash moment, though, then the current date shows up instead of the page.

    As soon as I deactivate the plugin, the content loads properly, and the page can be edited with Elementor.

    You can see that the site is in Troubleshooting mode, all the plugins are deactivated except for Elementor +PRO and Content Plus to filter/find plugin conflicts by chance.

    I tried to delete the shortcode from the page, and it (without the shortcode) loads properly. No other visibility settings or restrictions are set on the page, moreover, when the page itself was created last year it worked just fine since I created it with Elementor.

    As I insert the shortcode, the page content “disappears” (see 2nd video).

    Any suggestion what I could do, or what was maybe initially changed in the plugin that I might have overlooked?
