    Hello,

My WordPress website is hosted on WHM VPS, with nginx reverse-proxy, PHP-FPM.

I have installed WP fastest cache to enable page cache for my site.

But my WordPress site health shows that page cache is not detected. This issue is not seen with any other popular cache plugins, so i am wondering why this is happening only with wp fastest cache?

Here’s what my WordPress site health tells me:

Page cache enhances the speed and performance of your site by saving and serving static pages instead of calling for a page every time a user visits.

Page cache is detected by looking for an active page cache plugin as well as making three requests to the homepage and looking for one or more of the following HTTP client caching response headers:cache-controlexpiresagelast-modifiedetagx-cache-enabledx-cache-disabledx-srcache-store-statusx-srcache-fetch-status.

    • ?Median server response time was 31 milliseconds. This is less than the recommended 600 milliseconds threshold.
    • ?No client caching response headers were detected.
    • ?A page cache plugin was not detected.

    Thank you for your reply.

    Site URL is:

    homemade-circuits

    .com

Please note that I have checked the issue by clearing nginx cache, but it is still persisting.

Also, I have litespeed cache plugin installed, but i am not using it for caching, caching is fully turned off, except browser cache. I am using it basically for page optimization.

In WP fastest cache plugin, only the following fields are turned ON:

Cache system, Logged-in Users, Mobile, New Post, Update Post.

    Rest everything are turned OFF.

Looking forward to hearing from you.

WP Fastest Cache does not work because of Litespeed.

Cache is served via PHP because you are using Nginx web-server. I recommend using Apache web-server.
