Page cache is not detected and the server response time is slow

    Hi,

    I want to know how to solve “Page cache is not detected and the server response time is slow” in my wordpress site([ redundant link removed ]) health.

    I’m currently using Newspaper 11 theme and WP Super Cache using as a caching plugin.

    As the below showing error in site health,

    `Page cache enhances the speed and performance of your site by saving and serving static pages instead of calling for a page every time a user visits.

    Page cache is detected by looking for an active page cache plugin as well as making three requests to the homepage and looking for one or more of the following HTTP client caching response headers:

    cache-control, expires, age, last-modified, etag, x-cache-enabled, x-cache-disabled, x-srcache-store-status, x-srcache-fetch-status.
    Median server response time was 1,170 milliseconds. It should be less than the recommended 600 milliseconds threshold.
    There were 2 client caching response headers detected: cache-control, last-modified.
    A page cache plugin was detected.

    I want to help to solve this issue as soon as possible.

    Hi @helani,

    I’ve had a look, and I can confirm that your front page does not appear to be cached.

    Can you visit your WP Super Cache settings (under Settings -> WP Super Cache in your WordPress admin dashboard), and ensure that caching is turned on?

    It is not on by default, and your site will not be cached until you turn it on.
