    Hey guys,

when I acivated “Page Cache” the whole pages in the web is broken, the page contains question mark characters and random lettering see screenshot here https://www.dropbox.com/s/1aajm8mbt8rfdxq/cache_errror.png?dl=0

But after manualy refreshing all pages in the browser all works correclty.
Unfortunately, the web page visitor does not want and will not refresh each page. He’d rather leave the site.

Thanks in advance for any assistance!
    Tomas

    New findings.

The problem will disappear if you turn off the “Browser cache” option (Enable HTTP compression and add headers to reduce server load and decrease file load time.)

Unfortunately, this feature is quite useful.
My site is running on https: // … can it be related?

This seems to be a gzip incompatibility. You could disable the Enable HTTP (gzip) compression option in Browser Cache settings. I hope this helps.

    Hi @bogdanstratulat,

thanks for quickly respond. Yes when I turn off “Enable HTTP (gzip) compression option in Browser Cache settings”, the web works correctly.

My hosting, however, supports Gzip compression … can anything be done to use it?

I am sorry but without access to your set up is very hard to troubleshoot. You can always purchase professional support, which is available through your wp-admin area, menu Performance > Support > Hosting Environment Troubleshooting . I hope this helps and if there is anything else, please feel free to ask.

OK I understand. Thank you so much for your help. I have changed the settings on the server and now Gzip is active and plugin works correctly.

    thank you very much
