Is there an exclusion I can add to w3 total cache’s settings to avoid an incorrect match on the advance targeting settings (PRO)?

I have a parameter setup that says query exists “disable” do not show popup – for email marketing campaigns.

But this causes someone to either cache globally the show/no-show of that logic regardless of its correctness to the second visitor.

@cmisak – That I am not sure of. Sounds like you should with the query args. My WP Engine hosting recognizes them as separate URLs and won’t cache them together, so likely query args can bust cache.

But ( Light in the tunnel ) we are moving 99% of the popups to use the WP API or AJAX if API not available to load the popups both on demand and on page load. Targeting conidtions will be passed with the JS and all popups that should load based on those conditions will be loaded.

This will bypass heavy caching issues because API calls are cached based on their arguments, different args = different cache ids.

    Hope that helps.

Thank you for the quick reply – you are right they are (should be considered) different and not cached. But load time goes from 1.4seconds to 11-15seconds with the query sting (different issue). But I have added my logic query strings to the exception list.

All that said – do you have an ETA? And would you be willing to offer a beta. I have purchased, and a pro user.

Fantastic plugin for anyone reading this. Have used 2-3 free popup plugins, WMPL’s version and Yith’s this one is the best.

@cmisak – Sorry for the delay, have been traveling for WordCamps. We will announce public beta testing and you can begin testing specific features as they are finished. Overall we are likely 1-3 months away from a full release, but maybe only 6-8 weeks from a viable beta.

Sorry that is not sooner, but this version has a lot of changes going on, from performance enhancements like this, to simplification of the popup editor.

    Hope that helps.
