Page Builder Still Appearing on Visual Editor

    Hello,

    I’m having an issue with the page builder plugin when creating/editing posts. I have a huge icon that says Add SiteOrigin Layout Block which the height is set to 100%. Here is the class of the button in the block editor: body.admin-color-coffee .components-button.is-primary

    I have Posts unchecked in the General settings, but it still appears. I have found a workaround by going into Code Editor and then exiting, which removes the large button if that helps.

    My WP-5.0.3
    SiteOrigin plugins are up-to-date.

    Sorry for the hassle, thanks for letting us know. In the next update, the button will be removed as soon as any content is added.

    The height issue sounds like a conflict of some sort. Could you perhaps take a screenshot of your plugin list, I’ll then install them all and try to recreate the issue. Alternatively, if you’re familiar with the browser developer tool, perhaps you can see which plugin style sheets are impacting the button?

    Sure thing! Thanks for logging the issue. I tested this in Firefox and the button height seems to be perfectly fine, so I’m curious if this relates only to Chrome.

    Thanks for the feedback.

    I’m unfortunately not yet able to replicate the problem. If you have a moment, perhaps you could check for a plugin conflict for us? The test would involve temporarily deactivating all plugins except for Page Builder and then checking for the problem. If the problem doesn’t persist, we’ll know it’s a plugin conflict. Once you’ve done the check you can reactivate all plugins.
