page builder saves but can't view

Sorry for the issue, yesterday’s new Theme update is causing this issue, i will be pushing a new update later today to address this issue

For now to fix this issue, download the file https://raw.githubusercontent.com/pacethemes/quest/master/inc/pagebuilder/save.php and save it on your local system as save.php, using FTP connect to your webseever and overwrite/upload the YOURWORDPRESSDIR/wp-content/themes/quest/inc/pagebuilder/save.php file with the downloaded file earlier

We will ensure these kind of errors don’t happen again in future releases

I fetched the new save.php but image slider images don’t ‘remember’ the images assigned to them.

Did you try reverting to an older version using the revisions feature ?

No, but I did notice there was quite a lot of code left-over when I switched to another theme and that the page builder options survived when I switched back.

I’m really sorry but I think I will shelf this theme for now as I’m focussing on creating a BuddyPress community so have limited time to fiddle with nice looking themes like quest ??

Please help me I have the same problem – I’ve started building my site on quest today – I really like this theme!

However as suggested above I removed all plugins one by one and then added them one by one, checking each time, to no avail. I also did the save.php overwrite using pace themes code above – nothing is working.

I can see the other pages on the live view but not my static home page. Please help! My website is being built under the domain https://www.webmelonadmin.co.uk

I recommend trying the fix in the reply above. It wasn’t difficult (even for an amateur like me) to install and it did the trick immediately!

You will not lose any work, once you overwrite the save.php file as mentioned above, make sure you re-save the page which is not showing content. In case you lost any work, use the revisions feature in WordPress and revert back to an older version

I have the same problem. I don’t see page bulider, so it is impossible to make any changes on existing pages. I can only add new sections and it shows on my site but page builder still looks like empty. What is more slider don’t remember images and don’t show them on the site. I’ve uploded save.php but it didn’t help.

What is more, now when adding new section I can’t insert module into column (yesterday there wasn’t problem with that)… Only gallery works fine (but all page builders are still “empty”)…

My Page Builder is still blank after uploading the new copy of save.php to overwrite the existing one. I have tried this a few times, even deleting save.php from my server and reuploading it.

Is there something that needs to be done to “refresh” the theme or instances of WP to get it to recognize that new version?

My site appears to still be working, but I am unable to edit or modify the front page as a result of the Page Builder being empty.

Any further suggestions?

I would need access to your site to understand the issue, as far as we see, there was an issue with saving the Page Builder Pages, the content was being saved and you were able to see everything in the backend but the frontend content was not being generated, look like you are seeing a new issue, can you create temp “Editor” access and send it from the Contact Form on the site ? we will take a look ASAP
