Page Builder: After upgrade to 1.4.4 pages are blank

  • Hi Greg,

    I downloaded Page Builder from your site yesterday in the morning and built some pages with it without any problems. Later on I saw that there was an update to 1.4.4 and I updated it. After that I couldn’t properly create new pages with Page Builder, they are just blank after editing. Also when I try to edit previously working pages built with Page Builder, they also get deleted/blanked.

    To add some more complexity to the bug: Sometimes the inserted text is modified in some weird way (e.g. there are suddenly “/n” strings in the text and some HTML tags are missing).

    Hope you can fix this soon, I really like your plugin.

    Hi Greg,

    I’m having the same problem as everyone else. Page Builder will no longer save changes made to many of my widgets on my “pages.”

    I did note that PB will not save the text widget if it has any html code, e.g. <img src=”rainbow.gif”>. What’s weird is that it used to work.

    Now if I open and save any of my pages with html in the text widget, it will not display the data in the widget. If I remove the html it will save it. It appears to only happens with my pages. Widgets used on the “home page” work just fine.

    Very frustrating. I hope this helps.

    Hello everyone,

    I have same problem but what I have noticed is that when the data is being restored from the saved copies list, in the name of widget I can see that data are correctly placed in. However once I push update button all data disapears.

    just noticed, that if I update using quick-update from the Pages menu, all data is intact and ok. Please advice.

    Dear Greg, anything ahead with the problem? Just updated WordPress to 3.9 and plugin to 1.4.1.0 but all pages went blank and lost all data … please help.

    Checked all widgets/plugins and it came out that only Black Studio TinyMCE is causing this. Any other compatible visual widget?

    Sorry for many times but finally i found culprit! Connected with BSTMCE, but the real culprit is … NextScripts: Social Networks Auto-Poster. Yup, after disabling it everything goes back to normal.
