Page breaks when changing permalink

    I want to change the permalink structure of my website so that the pages are by post name. However, when I do this, the specific page I linked to breaks. It doesn’t completely break as in that it shows an error, instead, it changes to a default blog page and when I try to edit it with elementor I get the “preview could not be loaded error” that is explained here: https://elementor.com/help/how-to-fix-the-preview-could-not-be-loaded-error/?utm_source=editor-panel&utm_medium=wp-dash&utm_campaign=learn
    I know the link above explains that you cannot always edit your permalink structure and edit with elementor but all of the other pages are easily editable even after changing the permalink structure so I am not sure what is happening. Is there a workaround to this? I wouldn’t want to keep the default permalink structure as I do not think it is very appealing.

    Nevermind the issue was the new url slug was conflicting with a custom post type from my theme.
