Page Breadcrumbs for Custom Post Type

    Hi, using Jetpack’s portfolio which creates custom post types for “Projects” which then creates an archive called “Portfolio”. I assign a page template (mine is called “Work”) to pull the porfolio archive. Problem is when I add breadcrumbs to the custom post type, the heiracrhcy = home | [archive-pg] | [porfolio-post]. I’d like it to be the “Work” landing page.

    I’ve done a lot of research and can’t seem to find the exact solution for me.

    Can you please elaborate more what you mean by I’d like it to be the “Work” landing page.?

    Sure, my theme has a page I’ve titled “Work”. The theme also includes a template that I can assign to the “Portfolio” custom post type Jetpack offers. Thus my portfolio is https://morether.com/work. That page ‘acts’ as an archive, but is actually a page pulling in the custom portfolio project post types.

    That’s all great until you click on a project and the breadcrumbs refer to the archive of the custom post types rather than the template page I’ve titled Work.

    I can remove the archive on the custom post type by changing the ‘has_archive’ to false, but it does not insert the new page (that I’m calling the landing pg.).
