Page block editor misbehaving since 6.1.0 update
-
Hi,
Hope someone can help, I have disabled plugins and re-installed core wordpress 6.1.1 thought I would get that out of the way first.
The page block function pop up is sticking to the top of the left side of the page and has a black pop up size band across the full width when you try to edit existing blocks. The + sign to add blocks is not showing.
I am using a child theme of twenty twenty, the original twenty twenty works okay but the child doesn’t ?????. I have css set up for the child and have used the child css in the twenty twenty and it works fine.
I am now at the stage where I have set staging using WP staging which should have exactly the same environment but the staging works but main still has the errors.
The main site page right hand window/sidebar is showing the old page and block sidebar but the staging site(which is supposed to be a replica of the main/live site) has the new sidebar that uses the summary box instead of the status and visibility box.
These are errors showing in the firefox inspect on the live site –The block “core/post-comments” must have a title.
Uncaught TypeError: jQuery(…).mecAgendaView is not a function
Block validation: Block validation failed forcore/button
(X5)
Block validation: Block validation failed for `core/social-links
Block validation: Block validation failed for `core/groupThere are none of these errors showing on the staging site (again which is supposed to be a replica of the main/live site)
I have exhausted all the things that has been suggested online and now I’m stuck, any help would be appreciated.
I would attach some images but that function is not available here.
