  • Hi Cristian,

PLEASE DON’T POST LOGIN CREDENTIALS on the public forum!

Since you reference the old thread, let’s start with a few questions:
    – What version of AWPCP do you have right now?
    – What are you settings for the Ad management panel?
    – What are your settings for AWPCP registration?

I’m not really clear about what the problem is from your description above. Could you please post screenshots of what you see that is confusing you? Use https://imageshack.us if you need to.

    Hi Dave
    I apologize for the credentials.
They are a normal user has no administrator privileges.
All people can register and become members.
In the future I do not write credentials.

    I use awpcp 3.6.6-dev-4
    I did not understand this:
    – What are you settings for the Ad management panel?
    – What are your settings for AWPCP registration?
If you can I can upload here screenshots awpcp my settings?
This is the problem, look at the screenshot:

In practice when the page scrolls. User sees “Inserisci annuncio” (Place ads) and click.
Do not understand that to insert ad is need to go any lower. Click always the same page.

    Hi Cristian,

OK, so what is it you want your users to do?

The Place Ad link should be visible for them to click to place the ad, but I’m not sure I understand what’s wrong with the link itself.

Are they clicking instead of scrolling down to see ads?

Are they clicking and it’s not working?

That menu can be hidden by default if you want, but that can generate different confusion on what the user should do to start placing an ad.

I understand that I have many problems with the English language and Google translate does not help much.

I try to explain in a different way. I try to say even more times the same thing in a different way.

I understand that you can hide the menu. Unfortunately the menu can be hidden on all pages. The menu is useful. The menus give only page issues “Place ad”.

    Look at screenshots:
User has already clicked first time on “Place ad”!
When you open new page is still link: “Place ad”.
Being able to click 100 times “Place ad”
You are always the same page.
    Is loop.
Difficult to understand that only the first time you have to click “Place ad”.
Second time not click “Place ad”, but down page down and insert ad.
You can understand if you try to insert ad.
Use smartphone can understand very well.
You must know that in Italian language “Inserisci annuncio” means “Place ad”.
You do not think with your head. You know well awpcp. You have to think with the head of those who arrive here first time.
When it is on the website and find “Inserisci annuncio”, click and login.
Then see “Inserisci annuncio” and click.
Then see “Inserisci annuncio” and click.
Then see “Inserisci annuncio” and click.

He does not understand that DO NOT CLICK “Inserisci annuncio” many times.
He does not understand that has to go down the bottom of the page.
My website is registered to insert ad.
    50 registered = 2 ads !!!!!

    Hi Cristian,

Yes, Google translate seems to be particularly bad between English and Italian, for reasons I can’t understand.

Thanks for the explanation–that was not clear in your prior posts.

So, to sum up–users are seeing the Place Ad link on the Place Ad page and going into an infinite loop because they don’t understand to scroll down on that page for mobile.

Not as much on Desktop, because they have a larger screen.

We can see what we can do with that. We’re in the middle of a major custom post type migration so it will take a bit before we can get to this, but I think I understand the issue now.
