    There is no failure page. The only reason it would fail is if they got a 404 on the confirm subscription link. That does occasionally happen, but it is not something that happens occasionally. It’s something that happens on all confirmation links or none. So as long as your subscription links are working, then you should have everything configured appropriately already.

    I doesn’t happen too often, you are right about that but someone can easily forget a .com or a @ sign or something like that. Just saying, it’s a missed opportunity not to have this function while there is a option to assign a succes page.

    If they put in the wrong email or type it incorrectly, they won’t receive the opt-in email in the first place. As long as they get the email, the confirmation link will work. Unfortunately, there’s no way to validate that they entered it correctly other than opt-in. I would suggest having the thank you message on the widget remind them to check their inbox/spam and even tell them to retype their email if they don’t receive the confirmation email.
