Page Administrator?

Not using Word Press Yet, But…
Just wondering if after I get set up, can I assign certain registered users to be page admins, so that they can add sub-pages, edit certain pages?

This would be a club website, so I want people with different responsibilities, jobs to be able to maintain their own “mini-site”
