• Hello there,

I have a website called https://www.lifeisbearygood.com. I moved my WordPress fromhttps://www.lifeisbearygood.com/wordpress to this URL using the Codex instructions. I also used the Velvet Blues plugin to do a search and replace which solved most of my problems with the images not showing up after the URL change.

I still have a couple of problems with this site.

    1) If I scroll to the bottom and click on any page beyond page 1, I get an internal server error. For example: https://lifeisbearygood.com/page/2/.

    2) Monthly archive pages also get an internal server error (July 2014 is the only one that works for some reason). For example: https://lifeisbearygood.com/2014/06/

Does anyone have any ideas why this is not working? Does it have anything to do with permalinks?

    Thanks for your help.

So I went to Settings > Reading and changed the posts to display 5, so now I can get to page 2, but page 3 and beyond still do not show up.

Hey, I can’t really figure out the root of your issue, but I will continue to look into it! For now there’s a couple tricks always worth trying. One is re-saving your permalinks. Just go to settings > permalinks and hit save. Another thing is to try deactivating your plugins to see if that solves anything.
Let me know of that helps you! The developer of Kadence themes is on a backpacking trip and will be back in a few days so if we can get it solved by then I’m sure he’ll be able to come up with a solution.
    Thanks for your patience!!

Just an update, this seems to be a theme-specific issue as I’ve tried other themes and I don’t get these errors.

    Hey,
Can you do a quick test for me? Try changing your permalinks to default and see if everything is works?

Hmm.. still have the same issues when permalinks is set to default. Thanks for looking into this.

Ok in that case I would contact your host and ask them to increase you php max memory setting in the php.ini file.

    Hello,

I am not running hosting on Linux. I have Plesk, so I contacted the host and they said the Plesk equivalent of your suggestion is to create file called “.user.ini” with the following code:

    memory_limit = 128M

I did that and I still receive the same error. I’m still stumped. Do you have any other suggestions?

I saw on your website that you offer premium membership for the Virtue theme. As a premium member, would I be able to receive additional personalized support for this issue?

    Thanks.

    Hmm ok,
Try using the default wordpress twenty fourteen theme, See if everything is working if it isn’t then there is something incorrect with your server, database, or wordpress install and you would need to resolve with server support.

If the default theme does work then I will help you figure out the issue. Send me an email: [email protected]
