Page 2 of a category is missing

  • Hello again,

    In a category when I click to “Next Posts” it brings me to a blank page where the browser tab at the top says “Page Not Found”.

    Does this mean that switching through pages is not working correctly?

    Hm, well, Does this category have other posts? Could you please resave
    your permalinks and check again?

    It does have nearly 100 posts. What do you mean to resave permalinks?

    Go to “Admin > Settings > Permalinks” and resave theme, hit the blue button at the bottom.

    You are right. This is where the problem comes from. Here are the settings that I am using: https://ibb.co/ehPnue

    I use these settings in order to have “haha.bg/vicove” instead of “haha.bg/category/vicove”

    When I remove the dot from the settings the problem disappears. However, then the link becomes with /category/ -> “haha.bg/category/vicove”

    How can I get both of these things working?

    I think that these will require some serious custom coding.
    It is not a theme issue, its how WordPress understand and request the different urls.
