  • Hi @akiraanastasia,

    Thank you for reaching out.

    The 4 links you see under your homepage are called sitelinks. Sitelinks are given by Google. Having said this, is the page you see there an actual page on your site? Are you able to give us a link so we can check the Yoast output? In case you don’t want to have the page in the search results, you might want to noindex it?

    Here is the LINK: [ moved to link field ]
    It is not actual page created by us. Why it is showing in google with “10” number as sitelink? It is just unnecessary page.

    Hello @akiraanastasia

    We understand you are getting Sitelinks in the search results with one of the sitelinks showing as ’10’ and this is something you want to remove or modify.

    Google automatically decides which sitelinks will show and what information is displayed in the search results for a particular website. There is no way to add, remove, or modify them to your liking, as the process is completely automated. This article discusses it further — https://support.google.com/webmasters/answer/47334?topic=8523

    You may also wish to contact Google for more information on how they decide which links appear or how it appears. You may contact Google by making a post on their forums.

    OK. And You checked the link I provided? That page is not created by us, so there is any setting to stop this type of pagination?

    @akiraanastasia

    We understand you are getting pagination on your homepage (page 2) with the title ’10’ however it might be something you have to check with your theme or other parts of your website, as it’s more than likely that this isn’t being caused by the Yoast SEO plugin. Have you tried changing your theme and checking if the pagination still occurs?

    We recently changed theme to Newspaper X by Tagdiv. After changing, this problem started. Before, We were using News portal theme and it was working fine. Looks like it is theme problem…?

    We are afraid to say that we are unable to confirm exactly whether it’s a theme issue as this needs deeper look at the setup.

    That said, we definitely recommend you to reach out to your theme support since the issue started after you have switched your theme.
