• Hi everyone, first let me introduce myself. My name is Pierrick, I’m french and I work as a personal trainer… Yes, personal trainer!! In fact i’ve decided to design my website by myself. I’m clearly a newby but i’m improving my knowledges little by little. So, I’m using WordPress and Elementor pro and i’ve recently purchase the Piotnet Addons for many reasons but one of them was the ability to make various forms with the use on conditional logic.
So here is my question. I want to make a multistep contactform. I have created my templates for the different steps. The first step is mainly dedicated to the contact but has fields with conditions. And one of the conditions makes the requester proceeding throught the other steps till the final submit button otherwise he accesses the submit button right at the bottom of the first step. I hope it’s clear… For this purpose I have 2 different submit buttons appearing depending on this option. One to submit the contact form right at the end of first step, and one inviting to proceed with the rest of the steps. In the facts I have 2 different submit buttons with different labels
My problem is that I don’t know how to une use the logic to make it possible and even if I’m doing the right way or even if it’s possible to do it so.
Maybe do I have to create 2 separate forms, one corresponding to the first step and one to the rest of the multistep form. And therefore I use only one submit button for the first form and a classic elementor button linked to the multistep. But doing so I’m not sure that if the requester clicks the submit button at the end of the multistep form it will also submit the first form(the contact one). See waht I mean?
So if anyone has an idea or a solution I would be grateful, And don’t forget I’m a newby, I have started about a month ago!!
Thanks in advance for your answers.
