Apologies for listing this question twice, but the last time I did it was over 2 months ago, and never saw the reply. So i’m just rehashing my question below, because the old thread said solved and didn’t want you to miss it, because it said it was solved. However, I still needed help with this issue, if possible.

    My Original Topic question:

You can see how wide the content is on the page, which makes it look a little sloppy. The functionality is perfect, so thanks so much for this plugin. I was just hoping to make the job description pages with like 200px padding on the right side. Or maybe put a sidebar in there, but I’m not sure how to do that since they’re not individual pages I can edit.

    This was your reply:

For customizing the job board templates you can use SJB Templating feature.
For more information about this feature please visit CONFIGURATIONS & TEMPLATING section under the plugin’s page.
Please let us know if you need any further assistance.

    My latest response:

Can’t believe I never got the notification this was responded to. And I must say I’m not sure what I’m supposed to do to add padding to the individual posts. I’m posting a screenshot, but for some reason the job postings I see that you use as examples have more padding than mine.

Is there no place to add custom css to the individual job pages? I just want to add padding to the page, and when I update my theme, this new folder is going to disappear. I know that can be solved with a child theme, but it seems like a lot to do just to add padding to one page.

Is there a lest time consuming way that I can use to show this to our marketer. She’s gonna be the one doing this to like 15 sites.

    Thanks for reaching out.

You will have to change the job pages layout settings to ‘Theme layout’ from ‘SJB layout’ by going in the settings of Job Board appearance settings.

This will set the Simple Job Board according to your website styling.

If you have any questions do let us know.

    Best Regards

Hello again, so I’ve tried that, and it does adopt the other styles, but it doesn’t adopt the padding… the job descriptions are literally right on the edge of the page.

Yeah I’m still having the issue, but i ended up changing the background to white so no one can see the padding issue.

We want to help you out from this issue. Currently, it seems you are using SJB layout for job detail page.

Please first contact us at [email protected] and then change its template to theme layout from SJB Settings> Appearance so that we can test it and update you accordingly.

    Hi PressTigers,

I’m having the same issue. When I create a job post with SJB styling the post stretches to full width of page, how do I box it? Or if I use my own website styling, it creates two versions of the job post, one above and one below. How do I fix this please? I don’t mind if I use SJB styling or my own styling.

Also off topic – is there any way to feature job listings? I.e. make them ‘sticky’ and have a different colour?

    Kind regards,
    Spencer

    Spencer,

    Thanks for writing to us.

You can use td-trending-now-wrapper class in the SJB container settings to box the job detail page.

Currently, sticky job feature is not available but you can write to us at [email protected] for custom development.

    Thanks & Regards,

    Hi PressTigers,

Thanks for the quick response. I have tried adding td-trending-now-wrapper but job post just disappears. Please could you add a screen shot of what exactly you mean?

Yes thank you I am interested in custom development for featured listing, I will contact you.

    Kind regards,
    Spencer

    Spencer,

It’s weird that the jobs posts are disappeared. Maybe some of your installed plugins or theme’s script is conflicting with Simple Job Board.

    Thanks & Regards,
