I have been looking at this post which talks about adding padding text to pages that have very little content. Unfortunately someone closed it before the final question was answered.

Basically I want some PHP to work out if a page body is less than a certain amount of pixels in height, and if so, bring in something else. Perhaps a shortcode for a Widgets on pages widget area that I can put a slider or text into.

The end game is that I won’t have pages that have a body that is shorter than the content in my sidebar.

Thanks in advance for any ideas.

    Try googling on “CSS min-height”.

Clever this Google thing. I’ll make sure I bookmark it.

Threads are automatically shut after a year. It’s reasonable.

I’m not complaining about that, just graciously showing that I have been looking to solutions already discussed so I don’t stir up the forum Nazis. It’s not working;)

Then I wouldn’t raise the point in the first place.
P.S calling people Nazis isn’t going to go down well.

    Fair enough. OK thanks.
