• I’ve successfully installed several local instances of WordPress with MAMP. At the moment, 2 work fine (call them “A” and “B”), while one of them (“C”) behaves strangely on connecting.

When I run MAMP, I see a root dir. I then click on a subdir that has the instance I want. So I click on the subdir for “C”, and what happens next is it redirects to port 8889 and then gives a bunch of gibberish including the phrase “packets out of order.”

I then tried a fresh install of WordPress and got the same error. Keep in mind that A and B still work perfectly and I’m not aware of any difference except possibly the WordPress version.

Never mind… issue was I needed to clear the cache. I wish I could remember to check that first every time. ??
