• Sorry, but I hate it when all plugins clutter the admin menu of WordPress. A good reason to replace a good plugin after the update to 2.0.

    Hi @tf28

Thank you for taking the time to share your honest feedback and we apologize for the inconvenience.

We understand where you are coming from and are sorry to hear that you plan to switch from using Easy WP SMTP. Please know that we have taken your feedback into consideration. We have also begun testing an adjustment that should resolve this pain point going forward.

We do not currently have a specific date/time in mind, but this adjustment will take place in the next update that we are currently working on.

Thank you for your response. I am relieved, I would have to replace your great plugin on about 120 websites.

    Hi @tf28,

we just released a new update (version 2.0.1), which includes a new setting in the Easy WP SMTP > Settings > Misc (tab), called Compact Mode. Please update to this latest version and enable that setting. It will remove the top level WP Admin menu entry for Easy WP SMTP and move it back to the WP Admin Settings submenu (where it was before the update).

Please let us know if that resolves your issue with top level menu items.

    Have a nice day!

Even though I now have to make adjustments in over 120 websites, I think it’s great how quickly you reacted and that you found a compromise!

I’m sure many users will thank you for it!
