P2 version 1.1 released on WP.com…when is it in the Theme repository?

I just checked it out of the svn repository with :-
svn co https://svn.automattic.com/wpcom-themes/p2

I tried it (the svn repo version) a few days ago and is seems to be missing code, at least for the media uploading functionality which was the first thing I tried out. Hmm…maybe it needed wp 2.9 to be installed…I’m going to check that out!

P2 is supposed to be released when wp 2.9 is released…which can be anywhere this week or somewhere in December.

I betcha it’s in the svn repository somewhere ??

Why the long wait? Testing, different infrastructures, and the need to wait for a 2.9 beta (which is now out). P2 1.1 will not work with anything less than 2.9 beta or greater.

So how can I get the older p2 theme? Because I have accessed the newest P2 theme and it wont work with my wordpress because 2.9 is not out of beta…
