P2 Header Issue

I’m having an issue with the P2 Theme header that appears to be purely CSS related.

I would like to use a header that has a tab that hangs down about 34px further than the rest of the header. I can get the image to show up just fine but the styling draws the full header image down to the bottom of the tab when I would only like it to show up for 166px of the 200pxH.

Any suggestions?
