Oxygen Theme – Upgrade

  • HI all,

    I am running the Oxygen Theme 0.3, now there is an update available for it; ver 0.3.6.

    I have the free version and have done customizations like increasing the width, changing the layout a bit etc.

    Will upgrading to the new version effect my customization?

  • If you have made changes to theme files (i.e. style.css or any php files) yes, they will be overwritten. That’s why you should always use a child theme for modifications.

    If you made changes in theme options or a custom CSS option or plug-in, those will be fine.
