Hi. I would like to remove the left navigation bar, how can i do it? (i’m not running CSS, only basic Oxygen theme)

For the picture slider:

1. Set your home page. When you edit this page, you must make sure that you set the “page attributes” to Template: Front Page (this is the template that allows for the picture slider).

2. Choose the posts that you want to emphasize on the picture slider.
A. You must give these posts a “featured image” which have to be cropped to a certain size (as you can see from my picture slider I haven’t spent the time to figure out what size is best).
– this is done when you add media to your post … load a picture and then when editing it, click “use as featured image.”
B. You must scroll to the bottom of the post edit page and where it says “Location” click “Featured.” This ensures that this post shows up on the picture slider. When you want to remove it from the picture slider you can choose primary, secondary, or do not display.

Hey all,

I was just wondering, is there some way to put two images in the same box, and have some sort of bar that you drag across and the image changes? (reference: chinaairdaily.com — scroll down a little to see the Beijing Slider)

Also, is there some way to show images at the top of the site, that change frequently? (e.g. every 5 seconds)

Try going to the widgets menu, and remove everything from the ‘Primary Sidebar’.
That should do the trick.

I’m new to WordPress and just began using Oxygen. I’m trying to insert photos into my blog but they keep getting cut off on the homepage.

I’ve tried resizing and changing the alignment but nothing helps. Can someone help me?

Hi there, I am new to WP.
Have started putting together my website using Oxygen theme.
I need help with removing the Leave A Reply from the bottom of pages.
I have been to Discussion and unchecked Allow people to post comments on new articles, but this does not seem to work!
Can some one please help me.

I have a question. The tag line and the current page text is far too light. I don’t know how to make it darker (change the color)? I know where to set the general text/link color, but not the “visited” links or the text of the title of the page that you’re on.
Blog is https://www.piedfam.com.

I found out, that the slider only views the first 6 of a category, but i would like the slider showing all “featered” images of all categories. Does anyone know how to solve this. I think it would be possible with “featured-content.php” but my knowlegde is not enough to figure it out. Many Thanks
