Own Style not working in Child Theme

    I hva created a new Style Template, because we need a Buttoon without the Download Count.
    It works, but only if the content-download-file.php is in the directory of the main Themme. It will be deleted there (weekly updates). Is there a chance to get this work with the file in the right directory of the child theme?
