    Hello Dan,

is it possible to point to a separate folder of (own) map icons instead of the media library?

    Thanks

    Hi,

    It can handle 3 scenarios:
    1. from url, (copy the icon’s url)
    2. custom library (plugin’s icons)
    3. pins from wordpress library. (uploaded to wordpress)

It doesn’t handle reading from folder.

    Hope that answer your question.
    Regards.

    Hello,

I actually mean that when I select the custom library it refers to the plugins icons but can I move that reference (folder) so that it is not overwritten when updating your plugin?

    Hi,
On plugin update will overwrite your changes.

    Hello,

    Yes I understand.

But can’t I put that folder (a copy) in a different place, for example in my child theme folder?

To have your custom pins in the plugin library icons, you need to place the icons in the folder, and add the name of the pin in the array found in the bmp-script-pins.js.
That will be the only way.
The plugin is looking for that specific folder to find the pins based on the values in the array.
The downside of it will be that you’ll have to update the file and the folder everytime the plugin is updates.
    Hope that helps.
    Regards.
