Own plugin – last content of post

  • Hello,
    I make own plugin for wordress.
    For start is this simple project.

    I have now plugin with widget in sidebar and I would like now see last content from last post in category.

    For sample:
    Category ID is 8

    and now I would like see in widget last content of post in category 8.

    How to?

    Please help me!
