Does this mean using out own image as a toggle switch? If it does, I don’t understand this part of in the FAQ
“then add the class darkmode-enable to the element that you want to use as toggle”

Or is there a way to make the toggle switch even smaller then the smallest setting?

The toggle on mobile is huge. It doesn’t seem to shrink at all to compensate for the smaller screen.

    Hello @sp12

Yes, you can use anything as a toggle when you add the class darkmode-enable to it, so you could create your own widget. But remember to enable that option in the settings of the plugin so the default widget is hidden.

To use this you need to update to 2.0.4.

About mobile size of the default widget, creating your own widget or icon would be the best option right now, but if you know CSS you can modify the size of it with media queries easily.

Will add controls for the size of the widget on smaller viewports for the next version.
