Own Db functions and wp-db.php error

    I have large php script from my old CMS, and it users own DB functions.
    I manage to integrate it into wordpress, but Im getting error after using own mysql functions
    for example:
    Warning: mysql_error(): 31 is not a valid MySQL-Link resource in /home/klient.dhosting.pl/avatarus/star-citizen.pl/public_html/wp-includes/wp-db.php on line 1102

    How can I correct it?
