    Hey Guys,
Yoast SEO is overwriting all my metas and titles of every posts, pages and etc. This isn’t bad at all. I want that it is like this. But I want that Yoast SEO isn’t overwriting indiviual metas and titles of posts, pages and etc.

How can I configure that in Yoast SEO?

I know there is somewhere a button where I can toogle that. But I cannot find this button…

    Kind regards

There’s none. If you’ve set variables under SEO > Titles and Metas, the variables you set will apply globally. But if you go to each of your posts and pages to add the titles and metas individually, it will overwrite the variables you set. Please refer to this link to learn more.

But this is the problem… I set individually some metas and titles, but they still get overwritten by Yoast…

That is indeed strange. Sometimes strange behavior may be caused by a plugin or theme conflict. The fastest way to rule out conflicts is to deactivate all non-Yoast plugins and switch to a standard theme like Twenty Seventeen. If this resolves the issue, you have a conflict and should activate one plugin at a time until you locate the conflict. Finally, after all plugins are active, switch to your theme. This will narrow down the conflict to a specific plugin or theme.

If you are unfamiliar with checking for conflicts, we wrote a small guide that will walk you through the steps. You can find it here: How To Check For Plugin Conflicts
