    Hello,

    a few days ago I created this post.
    Since I could not replicate the issue I thought it was some random bug.
    I just encountered the same problem yesterday though.
    This is the page where it’s linking to my default lightbox instead of the Jetpack’s one if you click on any of the images in the article. I linked them all to the Attachment URL in Gutenberg.

    The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    @macmanx

    I corrected it so it links to the media file. Check again if you can, please.

    Now it’s just loading the media file for me.

    But it doesn’t appear that https://journeyingtoself.com/ is connected to Jetpack at all, so the image just loading the media file or the attachment page based on the link settings is exactly what I’d expect here.

    In your one reply earlier you wrote:

    I again connected the media file to the attachment page and THE same lightbox popped up. I disabled all plugins (I have only 7 there, not even Jetpack) and the same lightbox appeared again…

    If the lightbox appears on a site not using Jetpack at all, then it’s not a Jetpack issue, so not something we’ll be able to help with.

    There’s no way in Jetpack to force our carousel to always appear – if your theme, or another plugin or setting on your site is doing something to override Jetpack’s carousel, there’s no way to prevent this from Jetpack’s end.
