overwriting archive-listing.php
-
hi
in includes/functions.php there is a function called wp_listings_template_include() that controls whether the archive-listing and the single-listing files exist, among others, in the child-theme.
with the single-listing file, there’s no problem. if it exists in the child-theme, the original file is overwritten.
but with the archive-listing, although the code is the same and apparently should work, it does not work.
so that the archive-listing of the child-theme overwrites the original file of the plugin, it has to comment the lines 21, 30 and 39. in this way, the archive-listing of the child-theme overwrite the original file. Why does this happen?
thanks
