Overwrite doesn’t change the slug correctly

Hello,

I’m using the plugin to overwrite some plugins within my schedule, but as said in the description it should chande the slug of the newer post to match the older post slug, and add the date into the older post slug. Correct?

But with me it is adding the date to the slug of the newer post and changing the links that points to the olde post to the new one. The problem is that some user must use the older slug and it’s returning error, because they should be looking at the new one.

How do I fix this?
