Overview does not make line breaks or read HTML code and more

Thanks so much for reaching out.

WordPress usually strips HTML from the event description in order to form the excerpt.

There are 2 options which you can use to achieve the result you want.

You can hand-craft an excerpt for each event using this field (or at least do so for those events where you need HTML formatting)

Alternatively, if you want to display the full description you’ll need to override the following template the-events-calendar/src/views/v2/list/event/description.php. You should familiarize yourself with template customization before attempting the second option.

Basically you need to replace

<?php echo (string) $event->excerpt; ?>

With:

<?php the_content() ?>

But if I add below HTML in excerpt, then it do not read below < ul>….
I have made space between the kode so you can see the HTLM gode

< /ul>

Look at December 27 there I have add below HTML and not all are as it should be.
It is OK “only” to have an Summary on the overview page, so I would not change the tamplate as was your 2 option ??
