Overriding thickbox files in wp-includes

  • Hi ,

    I need to override files that are located in wp-includes folder.
    Specifically : /wp-includes/js/thickbox/thickbox.js file .

    I use this build in thickbox in my theme but i edited it for my purposes. I know that solution is not recommended , because I will lost this file while upgrading WordPress , but how can I override this file safely?
