Overriding template files

  • Hello. I have to make changes in epta-templates/epta-template-1.php.
    How can i override this file in my child theme?
    I’ve tried to:
    my-theme/event-page-templates-addon-for-the-events-calendar/epta-template/epta-template-1.php
    and
    my-theme/event-page-templates-addon-for-the-events-calendar/epta-template-1.php
    but it didn’t work.

    Hi there,

    Thanks for using our plugin.

    Are you able to find the Single Event Template settings page in the Events Addons section?
    You can easily override the TEC events default template from the plugin settings panel. Please just check the below-mentioned screenshot.

    The options are not sufficient enough. I need to modify the templat by editing the file. But when i change code in file in plugin directory, after plugin update my changes are gone. That’s why i asking how i can override this file in my child theme direcotry.
