When you edit a Saved Tab under Settings > Custom Product Tabs for WooCommerce those changes will apply to every product that uses that Saved Tab. If you want to make an exception to that on a per-product basis, check off Override Saved Tab for this product.

I created Some Tabs, and assign them to products, using ADD SAVED TABS button. Checkbox ‘Override Saved Tab for this product’ is not checked.
After, I edit Saved Tabs under ‘Settings > Custom Product Tabs for WooCommerce’, and changes are applied to products, is working as expected.

But, in some moment, changes are not synchronized with products. In product Page checkbox ‘Override Saved Tab for this product’ is not displayed, and it works like if ‘Override Saved Tab for this product’ was checked.

    Using:
    -Wordpress 4.8
    -WooCommerce 3.1
    -Custom product tabs 1.5.15

    Hi @wphbv

By “in some moment” do you mean this problem happens intermittently or after a certain amount of time it goes from working to not working.

    Let me know.

    Thank you,

Trying to force the situation, I make this actions:

    1. Create TAB, at Custom Product Tabs
    2. Assign TAB to Product
    3. Modify TAB, at Custom Product Tabs. -> Tab is Sync, and changes are applied in product page.
    4. Modify TAB, at Custom Product Tabs. Access to Product administration, and Click UPDATE. -> Changes are not sync. To get Sync again, I have to Modify TAB an save.

The problem is reduced at: If you Update the product, the content of the tab is the initial content, not last change I made. To sync the content of the Tab, I have to Modify and Save the Tab…

Hello, I think the problem is produced if you have in different BROWSER tabs, 2 pages: Custom product Tabs, and Product Administration.
Even if you configure the Tab with Checkbox ‘Override Saved Tab for this product’ not checked, if you load in product page a version of a tab (version 0), and at same time you change the content of that tab (version 1), when you save the product it saves Version 0.

Problem is solved if you don’t do 2 things at same time!:)
