Overrides wp-admin login
-
Here is my experience of trying to use this:
1. I installed and activated this plugin while logged in through my wordpress.com account because I’ve always used that account for wp-admin
2. Created the login and registration page
3. Logged out of that admin account to test the great new registration feature
4. IT JUST REGISTERED A NEW CUSTOMER. Why on earth would I want this plugin when I already have that functionality by default. If you want me to continue using this and pay for it, you need to provide more features in the free version (and not brick my existing accounts logged in with wordpress.com)
5. Tried to log back in and see what the users looked like and it completely disabled the wordpress functionality of logging into wp-admin with a wordpress.com account and forced me to reset my password because I couldn’t get to the ‘log in with wordpress.com’ UI without it redirecting me to it’s own login page which doesn’t have that functionalitySo basically, if an admin or user is logged in with wordpress.com, this plugin breaks that and forces them to reset their password because the wordpress.com password won’t work. It also replaced the login on wp-admin for some tabs with a mini version of one of my entire pages, complete with the full header and footer.
Also, I don’t care if this can even be turned off or fixed easily, just that it happened within 2 minutes of activating this plugin is enough.
Just a tip for login/registration plugins: DO NOT MESS WITH WP-ADMIN
Will never try this again.
