Hello, I was previously using version 3.4.7 of this plugin and it was working fine. However, after updating to version 4, I suddenly encountered an error. The error is that the plugin is not reading the template file I overrode in the child theme, even though I followed the instructions by creating the folder [theme]/eventprime/events/single-event.php. However, it seems the file is not being read by the plugin, so the frontend display is still using the file from the plugin. How can I fix this?

    Hello @tantriabenk

Thank you for reaching out to us.

As part of our recent update to version 4, we have deprecated the function of overriding template files through the child theme. The change was implemented to adopt the recommended plugin standards and will fix layout issue with pretty links.

Please delete the custom single-event.php file from your child theme directory, as this functionality has been deprecated. We are currently working on introducing a new method to add custom templates in our upcoming releases.

If you have any further questions, please don’t hesitate to reach out to us.
