Override facebook image not appearing on facebook

Hi there,

I’ve been using the plugin for a year now and had absolutely no issues until I updated this plugin and now the image that you can specifically upload for facebook doesn’t appear on facebook, and it scrapes a different image from the page (not the featured image). I have disabled all plugins one by one while keep Yoast active, I’ve debugged and scraped the page numerous times and checked for other conflicts but I can not seem to find the cause.

While debugging it says that the image is “unavailable” and comes up with “HTTP response code: 500.” The image that I’m uploading is a JPG and 1,200 x 630 pixels so its not a problem with the image itself.

Any help you can give would be appreciated.
