Hi and thanks in advance for the plugin.

We have an small problem, maybe you can share how to solve it.

We have 3 domains running your plugin and when they are working, every 30-60 min each, the server overloades and get unreacheable, websites without access.

Is there any solution for this, at cpanel says server cpu 98%, when it′s normally at 0%

    Thank you ??

The CyberSyn plugin does not consume much of server resources. Seems like the mentioned issue is caused by something else.

I have problem with the server, when the plugin starts working my site becomes unreacheable.

In this case I would recommend you to change your server or try any other RSS aggregator. The CyberSyn plugin is already well optimized and can’t make it even more faster.

CyberSEO, I chose your plugin because it is best optimized than anyone I’ve tested. There are no unnecessary options in the plugin, no any other unnecessary things, there is only what’s essential needed.

But, there is room for two improvement:
    1. On sites where there is posts published many years ago there is no need to check all these posts in search for duplicates, especially if it is a large number of posts.
    2. Restricting the launch of cron on all feeds at once (especially if it is a large number of feeds) and inserting a pause of a few seconds between the two feed processing would relieve server resources.

I chose your plugin as the best and I do not want to use any other. I can hire someone else to do these improvements for me. On that way your plugin will not be better and WordPress community will not benefit.

This is not a good idea. Some feeds update very seldom, so there will be duplicates.

Restricting the launch of cron on all feeds at once (especially if it is a large number of feeds) and inserting a pause of a few seconds between the two feed processing would relieve server resources.

You can set different update time for every feed, so the plugin will nit pull them all at the same time.

CyberSEO, I am sure that no one pulls content from sites that are updated less frequently than once a year. Can you give us the option in the code or in the UI to determine a parameter for a range of posts that we want to check in search for duplicates.

Seting different update time for every feed will still at some point lead to a cron match. It could even lead to the launch of a cron while the other cron is active. Inserting a pause between two cron jobs will never lead to overlapping.

Pause will not help to avoid the overlapping. The only way to do that is to use real server-side cron instead of “auto mode”.

Hi again! I′ve tested thru this time the plugin and there are several things weird and maybe because this server overloads.

For example I have 10 feeds, I config autocron at plugin options (every 60 minutes, but I′ve tryed 1440 minutes, and so on) and start pulling feeds manually 2 hours one from other, BUT next day, all of them are sended at the exact same time, making the server overload.

Is there any solution for this type of things, it looks the plugin goes by it self and doesn′t care when they are supposed to be sended.

I′ve being days and nights making tests, for pulling feeds manually, to see if next day server overloaded and where foward all togeteher and with any configuration, they allways change hours by them selves and go all together.

Is there please any help for this not to happen?

I would appreciate it as we like the plugin, but its giving us many problems with other websites hosted too.

    Thanks in advance ??

What do you mean on “all of them are sended at the exact same time“? D o you mean the plugin tries to pull all 10 feeds at the same time? To avoid this situation you must use server-side cron instead of “auto mode”, as I did suggest it above.

Any one found a solution to this issue im having the same proble, memory and cpu overloads every few minutes im pulling around 8 rss, can someome pointme in the right direction on how to setup a cron and that stuff

You are pulling all the feeds together every 5 minutes. That’s not a good idea if your server is not powerful enough. Pull them at least once a hour and in different time.

my server always over loaded. i tried dropping some feeds but they still came back after some hours.
Also, can you tell me more about the manual/ cron job thing.
    Thank you

They “came back” because you are trying to edit them (add, alter or delete) while the plugin is active. So your changes just don’t get saved. Make sure the plugin is not pulling the feeds while you edit its options.
