    Hi,

May I first thank you for developing such a splendid plugin!

The one niggle I’m running in to is that all sorts of woes with the overlay ensue when the plugin is applied to an image without a caption. The results vary between browsers, and often the credit appears correctly after a few refreshes, but below are a couple of screenshots of the third image on https://www.berkeleysquares.co.uk/2015/11/the-glassboat – the second image on the page has a caption and functions perfectly, for your comparison purposes.

    Safari: Screenshot
Chrome (similar result in Firefox for me at the moment): Screenshot

I was wondering whether you might please be able to shed some light on the mystery?! Having to add a “.” as the caption for every image and setting it to be coloured white isn’t ideal!

    Many thanks for any help,

    Chris

    Hi David,
it seems the plugin is not always able to determine the width of the image and as a result the overlay has a width of zero. Try to update the script.js file which is in the plugin with this version: https://vedovini.net/resources/script.js

let me know if it gets better.
    C.

    Hi,

Thank you so much for being so helpful!

It now seems to be working correctly for images without a caption, but doesn’t appear for those with one!

Can you check if the credit information is still in the gallery for those images?

The credit information was still there.

A friend of mine added ‘$(window).load(function()’ after the opening ‘jQuery(document).ready(function($) {‘, which has fixed all our issues. See https://pastebin.com/raw/QkGaXfWz.

    Thanks again for your help,

    David
