    Hi!
I use a fly overlay with the title and a short excerpt on the gallery’s on my site. It works great and it looks really nice and clean, but suddenly (maybe ever since the last update?) all my overlays have a scrollbar on the side.
I can’t figure out why this happened and how to remove it, but I really want to get rid of this, because it looks incredibly messy this way.

    I would appreciate the help!

Thank you! That worked like a charm!

    Hi there NK,

I seem to be having issues with that CSS snippet to block the scrollbars on the overlay. I’ve put it just about everywhere and I’m still having the scrollbars appear on my VP overlays.. which is a tad bit tragic with my design.

Could you confirm where the CSS is meant to be placed? I did put it within my theme, customizer, page css, row/section css, the VP css… nothing seemed to do the trick. I’m running Divi, so perhaps that is the issue?

Any suggestions would be lovely. I LOVE your plugin.. and have recommended it to everyone!

Thank you so much in advance for your time.

@superfluousbox, I am curious to know if there is a fix for you.
I originally posted this question a few months ago and the css worked perfectly! Yet, sadly, a couple of weeks ago the scrollbars returned while I haven’t changed a thing.
So it’s not you, something’s different and I would love to know if there is a new solution as well. ??

    Hey @superfluousbox @catinka88

Yes, looks like it is stopped working since we use the plugin for custom scrollbars. The new custom CSS already available in documentation – https://visualportfolio.co/documentation/faq/how-to-remove-overlay-scrollbar/

Thank you so much @nko! It works great!

Maybe you can help me with one more (small) issue.

The last time I removed the scrollbar, the padding also adjusted slightly so everything was centered nicely, but now it stayed the same. This means that the title and excerpt are a little low on the overlay and there is a lot of space above them.

I looked at your site to see if maybe you have css to adjust the padding on the overlay, but didn’t find any. Do you know if that is something I can adjust?

    Thank you!
