Overlay menu not closing when anchor link is clicked

  • I added an anchor link to the Navigation block. I have Navigation set to Overlay on mobile. When I click the link on mobile, it works fine but the overlay menu covers the entire screen so it seems like nothing is happening. I have to manually X close the overlay to see where I am on the page. I have seen a few threads about adding JS to close the menu but none of them have worked for me. Any ideas?

    are you able to post a link to your website so volunteers on this forum can inspect?
    alternatively: contact your theme’s specific support team for guidance to manage the operation of the mobile menu.
