Overlapping logo & splash page

  • Hi guys. Love the theme but having a little trouble with my client’s logo overlapping the page title.

    I’ve tried a bit of CSS – overlap:hidden; & z-index:-1; – but neither of which seem to be resolving the issue.

    Lastly, in the screenshot you provided with the theme download, it implies there’s a splash page template with a large full window image & call-to-action. I’m not sure if this is an upgrade or if it’s simply missing from the template?

    Please could you advise! ??

  • The splash page like in the demo is actually not via a custom page template. It is the first post in index (blog home) listing page or category/tag archive listing page, the big hero image is the featured image for that post.

    For the logo and page title overlapped issue, without seeing the site, my guess is that the logo has high dimension in pixel greater than the set height of .site-header which is 40px, so it’s spilling out of its container. Also it might be that the page has long title and logo is too wide in width, the overlapped could happen in small screen.

    paulwpxp is right. We’ll need a link to your website in order to understand where could be the problem. Once we identify it, we’ll fix in no time ??
