The best way to prevent icon containers from overlapping is to use uniform excerpt lengths across all of your announcements.
You might try increasing the announcement excerpt length of the top announcement that is overlapping.
You can enable the ‘legacy support’ option on the settings page to enable a layout where icons are unable to overlap.
And finally, you can use CSS to try and tweak the margins of specific containers to help with the overlapping.
