Overlapping caches

    Hi,

    We were using page cache, object cache, and browser cache via w3t cache for some time now and since there was a transfer on a dedicated server we decided to go with the nginx fastcgi server cache and Redis object cache which we setup without the plugin.

    Because we use these now we don’t need page cache and object cache from w3t anymore as they will overlap, correct?

    We could only leave the browser cache then?

    Thank you for your question and I am happy to assist you with this.
    You are correct. You should not use multiple layers of caching.
    SO in your case, you should not use Page Cache and Object Cache in W3TC, if you have this already configured outside of W3TC.
