Overhauling and editing the custom header
-
I’m redesigning a site built on another developer’s custom theme that is basically a modified child theme of rjm 3 (Which I’ve never heard of)
The current header is very large and I want to make some changes…I was playing around with the header.php function.php and style sheets and updated a few things, but I wanted to see if anyone had any suggestions.
What I’m trying to accomplish is a shorter black background header with logo aligned left and menu aligned right. (very common look similar to Moose theme and Bridge theme is what I’m after) The current header collapses into hamburger menu at a certain width and I want to keep that with this edit.
Here is the temporary copy of the site I’m working on.. https://new.alslead.com/
The reason I want to make the header much shorter is to showcase the full width slider closer to the top of the page…
Any ideas? Thanks!
